Seasons Best: Denim
The small steps I took in the fashion industry were with a denim company. The amount of knowledge I've acquired about the denim industry is more than I really need but because of my background, I'm definitely a girl you wanna ask on the subject. So below ladies and gentlemen, are some of my top choices for denim this season.
Both of the styles above are from Parker Smith. So right off the bat, I'm interested in a denim brand if they pay particular attention to helping women find a good fit and specifically when shopping online. Their site is laid out in a way that doesn't feel overwhelming despite all their options. They make it easy to find what you're looking for by searching fit, rise, or trend. On the subject of trends, they've done a fantastic job of including them without the trends themselves defining the denim. In this way I feel like this is a brand that can appeal to all seasons of life. I own three pairs of their denim/trousers and they're all soft and flexible. I find myself wearing them on a daily basis because I don't feel restricted by them.
I mean, these True Religion Jeans are just cool. I saw them and I had to have them. It's funny how a fit of denim can transform you and your emotion. We all remember when True Religion first blew up. THE JEAN. Their Super T stitch! They really set the standard of quite literally breaking the mold through their process. They're a fearless denim brand. They show up and when they do, they make a statement. This pair is an impeccable representation of that.
You feel the weight of quality the minute Trave denim hits your palms. I feel they're very neutral. What I mean is, I can choose to channel my inner Joan Jett or go ultra feminine in them. They adapt and are most certainly crafted in a distinct way. This is definitely a brand I would buy EVERY SINGLE STYLE. Their site alone, model and all, draws me in. You instantly have a sense that they know how great their denim is. There's no fluff. There's no over styling. It's simple yet there's an immediate awareness of the thought and time that's most certainly been put into every single detail. I'm wearing Constance Under Pressure and she is strong, like really strong so size up if you're going for the look their models have. Strength bring longevity and these are sure to be a pair of denim I wear for the next 10 years.
