I feel like the N-Sale is when I start hearing that word thrown around! Everything becomes "transitional." Totally makes sense with the plethora of cozy sweaters, cardigans, and denim on sale around this time of year. Last year I used that word more than what was likely appropriate.

This year I was determined to keep that word safely wrapped up, along with my knits, until I felt like it was truly appropriate. I mean it is still a billion degrees outside in many areas of the U.S. With that being said, September is a stones throw away and while we are far from breaking out our snow boots, it's good to start thinking of your semi-transitionals. The pieces that you can actually wear right now. Items you can throw on with a cute blazer or wear with a trouser (like I did here) for cool evenings as the temps slowly makes their way down from Mars stats. After all, there's no reason to wish away summer. I mean I love a PSL & Fall scents as much as the next trying not to be basic girl, but Autumn is short and soon enough you'll be wishing on those summer days. So enjoy it. Be hot and wear crop tops as long as you can! (If thats your thing anyways.)

Ever so ironic, crop tops are NOT my thing. Not because I don't love them but I've had two extremely large babies and if you're a mama too then I don't have to explain any further. However, I couldn't resist this gorgeous one from Chicwish! I've eyed it for a while now and finally gave into the temptation and just thought I'd figure it out even if that meant I'd layer it.

My trousers are from last year and you all know my thoughts on actually wearing your clothing. They're a classic staple. They come up high enough to allow me to wear THIS gorgeous lace crop top with confidence and have a neutral but bold hue to captivate. They also pair with mostly anything.

How about you guys? Do you all have your thermostats set in the 60's and are fabulously flaunting some new cozy knits inside or are you basking in the sun light every moment you can?
