I've partnered with Banana Republic to share my ultimate fall must-haves.
As you all know I was recently in NY for Fashion Week and I was able to preview Banana Republics new fall arrivals and their 70 piece capsule collection with Olivia Palermo. Upon arrival to the NY Store, I began to understand just how anticipated the collection was, noticing the public line wrapped well around the building. Even our media line was quite long (pictured above). If you followed along on my IG stories then you were able to see the beautiful models grace the stairs and the excitement buzzing around the entire store. The versatile style and tailoring make this collection my ultimate must-have style destination for fall. I truly adore every piece and it's comes as no surprise with Banana Republics amazing attention to timeless detail.
The first look I'm wearing is their Floral Strappy Midi Slip Dress in purple. The vibrant color immediately struck me as incredibly regal. I feel like dynamic color can be forgotten in fall but it shouldn't have to be. I layer mostly everything despite the season, but this dress was so effortless, and our temperatures are still warm enough, that I felt I was doing it an injustice adding any extra pieces just yet. I'm just figuring out what dressing for fall looks like in South Carolina. It can be somewhat confusing as we tend to go through times where the temperature dips down and other times when it jumps back into the upper 70's & 80's. Over the past few years I've learned to buy lighter pieces like this outstanding slip dress, and layer as needed.
Soon, the warm temperatures will come to an end and I'll certainly be required to layer up for cool evenings. Banana Republic has one of my favorite selections of outerwear and blazers. I've include beautiful pieces below that could be paired with the dress above and other selections perfect for the season.
My second look is centered around a perfect layering piece, Banana Republics Herringbone Bow-Neck Jacket. A wool polyester blend that's fully lined so you get the warm benefits of the wool without being bothered by any itchiness that can occur with this fabric. I'm fond of the fact that the bow is removable which allows for more style options. I love the idea of taking this piece into winter as a second layer of three layers, having the bow give some gorgeous detail between your outer coat and blouse underneath. For now I'm still soaking in every bit of the sunshine as I paired it with a shorter dark floral dress.
Thank you to Banana Republic for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.
